How to transfer STEEM from Coinspot directly into Steemit
After doing a lot of searching around how to do this this, I found that the only information available was to do multiple transfers, or exchange currencies.
After a little trial and error, I actually found that it can in fact be done, directly from Coinspot to your Steemit wallet.
The transfer fee is only 0.01 STEEM, and only took seconds to complete the transaction.
The process is as follows:
First, you will need two pieces of information from your steemit wallet. The first, is your user name. In my case, it is 'virtalch'. This is your 'STEEM Payment Address'
NOTE. You do not need to the '@'
The next piece of info. you will need is your 'MEMO', (do not click 'show private key'. It should start with 'STM'.)
Refer below.
Input this information into the Coinspot STEEM wallet. It should look like the below pic.
Enter your 'Two Factor Code', (If you do not have this setup, I strongly suggest you do. Your wallet/account security is YOUR responsibility.)
You will then need to 'Confirm the withdrawal' by clicking the link in the email they send to the email address you used to create the account.
And that's it. You're STEEM should be in your Steemit wallet.
Take note that it will show in your Steemit account 'History' that it came from 'bittrex'. This is because Coinspot is a third party platform.
