Endodontics - the future of dentistry

in #dentin8 years ago

Well, gone are the days of amalgam (mercury) fillings, which i'm sure we all know are toxic to the brain and body as a whole.

Researches have found that not only are amalgams deleterious to our health, but that common day dentistry will be a thing of the past.

First the deal was that gums could not regenerate and that grafts had to be done, which we all know is a lie, or at least some of use know (and if you didn't well now you know - don't take my word for it, do the research).

Then they insisted that teeth could not heal or regenerate themselves, but we know that to be misinformation as well. With the right diet and attention, gums can heal, except maybe for the enamel (outer protective layer of the tooth).

Now there is great insight on something called "Tideglusib", which has been proven to actual grow back the dentin of the tooth. The dentin is the actual part of the tooth that protects the inner pulp which harbors the root of the tooth and all vessels that feed the necessary minerals and vitamins so that are teeth get the proper nourishment.

Researchers found that using a nano-collagen sponge, which is biodegradable, and the tideglusib together on an infected or damaged tooth can show regrowth of the structure in as little as 6 weeks.

Well, this is rather impressive and just shows how technology can be beneficial when used for good.

Blessing to all.
