The Ignorance of the People!

This is a private interpretation, based on logical definition of words as they were created, and then changed to suit the needs of a few!

The Ignorance of the People!
What I love about the actual Ignorance of people; as time passes, and those who manipulate the way things are done simply take their time to change the facts 1st, right in front of those being manipulated, so as to make them think it was their idea all along, or to just let them blindly think that everyone is lying to them. These days we call it Fake News much of the time, and yet people accept it blindly, without question.

These words are taken from Webster's 1828 dictionary; not all too long ago.

Republic; REPUB'LIC, n. [L. respublica; res and publica; public affairs.]

  1. A commonwealth; a state in which the exercise of the sovereign power is lodged in representatives elected by the people. In modern usage, it differs from a democracy or democratic state, in which the people exercise the powers of sovereignty in person. Yet the democracies of Greece are often called republics.

  2. Common interest; the public. [Not in use.]

Republic of letters, the collective body of learned men.

Republican; REPUB'LICAN, a.

  1. Pertaining to a republic; consisting of a commonwealth; as a republican constitution or government.

  2. Consonant to the principles of a republic; as republican sentiments or opinions; republican manners.

REPUB'LICAN, n. One who favors or prefers a republican form of government.

Democracy; DEMOCRACY, n. [Gr. People, and to possess, to govern.] Government by the people; a form of government, in which the supreme power is lodged in the hands of the people collectively, or in which the people exercise the powers of legislation. Such was the government of Athens.

Democrat; DEMOCRAT, n. One who adheres to a government by the people, or favors the extension of the right of suffrage to all classes of men.

Conservative; CONSERVATIVE, a. Preservative; having power to preserve in a safe or entire state, or from loss, waste or injury.

Liberal
LIB'ERAL, a. [L. liberalis, from liber, free. See Libe.]

  1. Of a free heart; free to give or bestow; not close or contracted; munificent; bountiful; generous; giving largely; as a liberal donor; the liberal founders of a college or hospital. It expresses less than profuse or extravagant.

  2. Generous; ample; large; as a liberal donation; a liberal allowance.

  3. Not selfish, narrow on contracted; catholic; enlarged; embracing other interests than one's own; as liberal sentiments or views; a liberal mind; liberal policy.

  4. General; extensive; embracing literature and the sciences generally; as a liberal education. This phrase is often but not necessarily synonymous with collegiate; as a collegiate education.

  5. Free; open; candid; as a liberal communication of thoughts.

  6. Large; profuse; as a liberal discharge of matter by secretions or excretions.

  7. Free; not literal or strict; as a liberal construction of law.

  8. Not mean; not low in birth or mind.

  9. Licentious; free to excess.

Liberal arts, as distinguished from mechanical arts, are such as depend more on the exertion of the mind than on the labor of the hands, and regard amusement, curiosity or intellectual improvement, rather than the necessity of subsistence, or manual skill. Such are grammar, rhetoric, painting, sculpture, architecture, music. &c.

Liberal has of before the thing bestowed, and to before the person or object on which any thing is bestowed; as, to be liberal of praise or censure; liberal to the poor.

Now, what I find really unique and a trap is this; suffrage was not yet in the Webster's 1828 dictionary, and so the original term from Oxford, was about prayer, and the book of prayer, and the litney of priests, for people.

So I find it quite special to see a very popular site to quote like; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suffrage
for they list only the modern version which is not even close in many ways to the early American version, but tweaked if you will.

I also, decided to look up the word 'Liberal' on wikipedia to see how tweaked it had become, from what I was taught, and I got the political version 1st, and I was amazed at how twisted and multi-formed it had become. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal

So folks, I guess what I am saying is do you Really know what you are talking about, when you say conservative or liberal, or even democrat or republican?

I see our politicians as Egotistical, maniacal, self-absorbed, control freaks, who could care less for anyone but themselves, and basically none of them work for the people, but for those who can give them the most of what they desire. And none of them are Christian period, for they certainly do not believe in Jesus or the way of Jesus, and I realize many of them may have meant well when they entered politics but they soon caved to their desires over that of any truth, they speak of.

Many will condemn this post saying things change, and a modern view is needed, not staying in the past. But, then I ask this: The United States became the greatest nation on Earth, only from it's founding principals, and will fail due to it's deviation from God! For scripture plainly states we are to follow and obey those God put into power, until they quit following Him, and then He will destroy them.
Another simple word for your enjoyment:remember Webster's 1828 dictionary;
Gay; GAY, a.

  1. Merry; airy; jovial; sportive; frolicksome. It denotes more life and animation than cheerful.

Belinda smiled, and all the world was gay.

  1. Fine; showy; as a gay dress.

  2. Inflamed or merry with liquor; intoxicated; a vulgar use of the word in America.

GAY, n. An ornament. [Not used.]

Homosexual? Oh, that is right this word did not yet exist, as it is used in it's proper context. So to a modern definition. And I ask from just this definition where in the world did they ever contrive the idea that this was any sort of definition of a homosexual? A twist of words to make the term more acceptable? For in reality most of them are not happy and jovial; but troubled and full of anger.

Now as you read this Wikipedia definition, know this science has proven beyond any doubt that this is a choice based solely on the knowledge and environment of the individual. So read at your own digression, for you may be mislead by information edited in by those who are not qualified to give this information.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality

So it is not my intention to anger but to inform, a people who have lost sight of who is actually supposed to govern this country, through representatives that actually represent the people; not themselves, or those who give them riches and power. And using the terms Conservative and Liberal mean almost nothing in the real sense!

So grow a brain!!
