Democratic national convention.

I think it's only worth me saying this one time but if the Democrats just railroad in a candidate without having an Open convention, the chances of trump winning go up, and the chances of it being a bad president even if they do win go up. The whole freaking problem here is that we've been paying for the Democratic nominee being a backroom deal without a fair opened competition to try and pick the best people in 2016 and in 2020. If they do it again, and if you passively go along with it, I'm thinkingly throwing your support behind whoever they pick for you, we are all screwed.

Those of you who are ready to listen to this message will, the rest of you will just jump on the most apparent bandwagon and do what they want you to do. I really wish not thinking was painful. I've been trying to warn you about this for years, and I just get this glazed eye slack jawed response about party unity that seems not to understand what democracy is or why it's a good thing and why it routinely triumphs all throughout history and all over the world.

And before you say it, no it wasn't a democratic system that put Hitler in power. It was an idiotic surrender of democracy as a fear response to an alleged communist terrorist incident. It was panic and the abandonment of democracy that put Hitler into power.
