Washing machine effect over the last ten years, not only large scale corruption/theft/lies, what really baffles me is why the massive onset of racial divide is raising it's head again. Politicians are really using dirty tactics splitting a country worse than ever before...
Next months election is going to be an important one, interesting to see what the future holds.
Thank you, Joan. The racial divide is very worrying and is a reflection of the rise of populist nationalism all over the world. It's as much a feature of far left as it is of far right politics.
I agree that these elections are seminal. I fear the rise of the raging red left. Just yesterday friends of ours - young and virtually bornfree - are considering leaving the country. Because of the accusations based on their/his whiteness. He's a dynamic, hardworking entrepreneur who's creating jobs. Let me leave it at that.
I will most definitely be voting on 8 May. I may write about that in due course....
