Democracy is the form of government of the people, by the people and for the people. It is ruling power of the state. It is established with the help of people living in the country. Democracy is necessary to bring changes in the society, community, and country. It provides power to people in doing any kinds of activities, believing others, to do work in individuals. Democracy is the rule of people.It provides no discrimination among caste, races, religion, etc. If do not different between poor and rich.

In the context of Nepal, during the period of King Gyanendra, Bir Bikram Shah Dev, the democracy was established. From that day, falgun 7th was celebrated as democracy day. It was the establishment of peace in the country.
