Mozilla can make facebook bankrupt, if they want, read how their reaction to facebook
Foundation expressed discomfort over the scandal involving Facebook. They had claimed to withdraw all the ads that exist in social media.
Mozilla made a statement about the scandal on March 20, 2018 ago, asking Facebook to change its rules stating that third parties can not access information from friends on Facebook account users. This is what happened to Cambridge Analytica in the Facebook case that uncovered several days.
Mozilla also asked Facebook to protect user privacy. As is known, CA takes data not only users, but also friends in their circles without permission.
Two days after the statement, they also launched a petition against an application that accesses its user data. Mozilla also stated that Facebook tries to explain the problems written by the Mozilla party before.
Facebook ads withdrawal issues reportedly delayed
"Facebook contacted us for a discussion, how we categorized their arrangements and told us that our blog posts are too much, what we describe is an accurate categorization of what appears in Facebook settings What Facebook tells us that what we write is only valid before 2015. Again, this is not clear to the user and we think it needs to be fixed, "Mozilla wrote in a statement, The Register website reported on Friday, March 23, 2018.
After posting the latest statement, the issue of withdrawal of Facebook ads reportedly postponed. Mozilla stated that it will wait and see the social media action and the promise of its founder, Mark Zuckerberg to make privacy settings more protected.
"When we believe there are still many ways to learn it, we find its default settings can open access to a lot of data, especially for third party settings," said Denelle Dixon, Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs.
