[VIDEO] Peace of mind through deleting posts
In this video i talk about the possibility of deleting posts on Steem. you might ask yourself that this is a simple feature but actually it was not possible to delete posts on Steem back in the days. so this might give you peace of mind, that if you make a mistake you can simple delete it or at least make it invisible for other users.

Mate, I feel EXACTLY the same about this, and I held back from posting stuff (about a year ago, up til now) because of the idea what it couldn’t be edited after 7 days. It reminded me of a time I posted some blogs on MySpace and discovered them a couple of years back - I was cringing whilst looking at them. I had grown up so much since. So I didn’t want Steem to be THAT place again. I also had that bad feeling.
And only recently realised I could edit every post. Didn’t realise it was born from the hard fork, so cheers for the info.
Out of interest how do you fully delete a post, or hide it, as you suggested?
I can’t see a button for that.

This made me LOL! Nothing induces more cringe than looking at old posts. It is sort of like looking at your old High School yearbook photos. LMAO
Haha 100%!

i know that feeling! it depends when you post the content and i think it only works when you post directly on steemit. you can also remove all the content and replace it with "deleted". to hide or "delete" a dtube video by simply take out the hash codes of the post. hope this was helpful. steemit used to have a delete button they've implemented after the fork, but i cant find it no more?!
And also is it possible to delete/hide dTube videos?
