If Steem rises, so does the potential worth of the Steem you bought it with.

SBD pumping can definitely help though, but it is a double edged sword. The hope is that it wouldn't do that

    absolutely right bro..we can't trust sbd now..because witnesses once thinking to enforce it to 1$ ..it creates FUD among the SBD traders..

    Well SBD s suppose to be $1... It's more useful at that point. It's currently broken being more than STEEM
