Todos los aspectos del cuerpo humano deben explorarse por medio de la inspección y palpación podemos, llevar a cabo nuestra guía del examen de la piel, cualquier hallazgo patológico debemos anotarlo en la historia clínica en caso de presentar alguna lesión, como equimosis, hematomas o entre otros en la historia clínica debemos ser muy detallados con el examen físico, la piel conforma el órgano más extenso de todo el cuerpo humano, por lo que debemos tener un estudio detallado de la misma, hoy les hablaré como vamos a relizar esta inspección y palpación.

Primeramente vamos a proceder a la inspección en la cual vamos a observar la coloración que pueda presentar y su pigmentación, así como también presencia de lesiones e higiene. En la piel se puede presentar coloración parduzca que pueden ser debido a diferentes procesos de cicatrización como quemaduras y también cicatrices, o también pueden estar relacionados a la deficiencia de hierro o trastornos metabólicos, se puede presentar palidez que es una perdida color de la piel, ictericia esta se da por un aumento de la bilirrubina, cianosis que es cuando la piel se torna azulada y eritemas esta se da por enrojecimiento ocasionado por inflamación del téjido.

Luego vamos a proceder a la palpación de la piel, en la cual nos vamos a centrarnos en la temperatura, textura, grosor turgencia, movilidad, que tenga está debemos hacerla de una manera muy superficial y ligera con nuestros dedos vamos a formar pequeños pliegues con el indice y pulgar de esta forma vamos a estudiar diversas cualidades como lo son:

La humedad la piel normal sera, seca al tacto pero en ella pueden acumularse ciertos pliegues cutáneos también tendrá una sensación totalmente tibia y húmeda, si se está en un ambiente cálido, pero cuando se realiza actividad física la piel se torna fría, en situaciones de estrés las palmas de nuestras manos se vuelven húmedas, así como también comienza la transpiración en las axilas, por lo que debemos saber diferenciar lo normal y patológico.

Seguidamente la temperatura la piel es normotérmica, por lo que será totalmente tibia al tacto, cuando la piel se torna fría vendrá acompañada de una piel seca, otro aspecto importante la piel en la textura y el grosor ya que la piel que no está expuesta al sol es totalmente lisa, pero la piel que se encuentra expuesta tendrá una superficie rugosa, la textura de la piel varía según la ubicación en la que se encuentra ya que la piel de los párpados y de las orejas es de un menor grosor.

La turgencia y la movilidad también es muy importante, ya que la piel es elástica y está fácilmente va a recuperar su forma original, cuando la piel sufre de deshidratación de las células está sera totalmente pobre en turgencia y no va a recuperar tan fácilmente la forma original, por lo que perderá movimiento, todo esto dependerá de la hidratación, resistencia, edad y la temperatura de la misma, en la historia clínica debemos anotar si la piel está normocoloreada, normotermica sí es normahídrica si se encuentran lisa y si es elástica sí está hidratada.

The turgor and mobility is also very important, as the skin is elastic and will easily recover its original shape, when the skin suffers from dehydration of the cells it will be totally poor in turgor and will not recover its original shape so easily, so it will lose movement, all this will depend on the hydration, resistance, age and temperature of the skin, in the clinical history we must note if the skin is normocoloured, normothermic if it is normohydric if it is smooth and if it is elastic if it is hydrated.
