Announcement on the upgrade of CoinEx Chain to CoinEx Smart Chain
Dear CoinEx users:
CoinEx Chain is committed to building the next generation of blockchain financial infrastructure. In order to better achieve this goal, we plan to launch a public chain that support smart contract: The CoinEx Smart Chain (CSC). At the same time the existing DEX chain will stop operating after the CSC mainnet goes online.
About CSC:
The CoinEx Smart Chain (CSC) is a decentralized and highly efficient public chain created by the CoinEx public chain team for decentralized finance. It has the following features:
Perfectly compatible with the Ethereum ecosystem: CSC is built based on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), developers can use mature development tools, and can easily adapt Dapp to CSC, and users can also easily access the CSC network.
Extremely high efficiency and low transaction fees: CSC uses the POS consensus protocol to achieve block generation times in seconds, supports extremely high TPS, and maintains low transaction fees.
Block producers do not need permission: CSC supports up to 101 block producers, which are sorted and determined according to the number of CET stakes. There is no need for centralized agency review, and the network is more decentralized.

CSC development plan:
The CoinEx public chain team is continuously conducting research and development work on smart contracts and consensus protocols. It is expected to launch the testnet in May 2021 and officially launch the CSC mainnet in June 2021.
CSC Ecological Support Plan:
The CoinEx Chain Foundation launched the CSC ecological support plan, inviting developers to build decentralized applications on CSC. We will provide funding, technology, market and other resource support for outstanding projects.

DEX chain off-shelf arrangement:
The existing DEX chain will stop operating after the CSC mainnet goes online. Please transfer your assets on the DEX chain to the CoinEx exchange as soon as possible. In order to facilitate your redemption of pledged CET assets, we will initiate a proposal to shorten the pledge time to zero, and at the same time will cancel the pledge reward. Est. effective date: March 25, 2021 (UTC+8).
You can also bind your DEX address in your CoinEx account. After the DEX chain stops running, we will automatically map the untransferred or untransferable assets to the CoinEx exchange. More binding tutorials: check here
If you are a developer and have issued assets on the DEX chain, please migrate your application as soon as possible. We can provide assistance in asset mapping. You are also welcome to develop applications on the CSC chain and join our ecological support plan.
