A lot of it is just contradictory programming. We learn to love money but also learn to hate money. We believe in freedom but we also don’t really believe in freedom. We want to be good people but we don’t always trust that others will be and so we act defensively. So much contradiction fills our minds and then we wonder why our lives are a mess.
