tutorial : DeepOnion Wallet staking - let's speed up things !

 Hi,

Every ONION hodler has the ability to stake his onions. A good tutorial on this can be found on :

But, once you completed this tutorial it's highly possible that staking could take a while, which was the case for me. So... to speed up things, you can do the following, I'll try to explain as good as possible :
(note: this will only work if you have transfers in your waller, which should be the case if there's something in it  )

step 1 :
Click in the topmenu on "settings" and choose tab 4 "display". Cross the square which says "display coin control". Click apply & ok to close this window.

Step 2 :
Click the 2nd icon on top "Send coins". click the button "Inputs".
Now you can choose between "tree mode" or "list mode", both of them will display all your transfers from/to your wallet. Check the square next to all (or the ones you want to combine).
On top of the window you'll see the cost you'll have to pay to make apply the combining.
Click OK to close the window again.

Step 3 :
In the "sent coins" window, fill in your own wallet address in the "pay to" window.
(if you checked & filled in the "custom change address", you probably don't need to fill in the "to" field)
Insert the amount of onions (this will be the number on the right "after fee" that you may enter).
The label can be freely chosen... I've put "My own" in it...
Now click the button "Send" (lower right corner). you might get a message stating that the size is to big but you should be able to transfer the onions anyway..

No worries.. If you followed these steps, you only payed a small fee for this transaction, which goes to help the community, and your coins will be back in your wallet in no time.

Now you need to wait (if i'm not mistaking) 24h to have mature coins (hover on the second icon bittom right - lightbulb - to see the "no mature coins" message). As soon as the coins are mature, the staking will start. Keep your wallet unlocked and open to benefit as much as possible.

What happened here?
Well, you combined all fragments from the transfers from/to your wallet. This will result in faster transactions, better staking (to earn staking fees), lower fee on transactions.
