Deep Onion and the Dark Web
Deep Onion is promoted as an anonymous coin that is privacy oriented and with untraceable payments. Privacy is one of the hallmarks of freedom and it is no wonder that Deep Onion has attracted a lot of supporters.
Because of its anonymity features, sooner or later Deep Onion will attract users of the Dark Web. The Dark Web is a part of the Internet where content can only be accessed by specific software or with specific authorization. Such traffic is coursed through secure networks such as TOR (The Onion Router) and I2P (Invisible Internet Project). Communication through these networks is encrypted. It allows for total privacy, confidentiality and security.
Unfortunately, conditions which are advantageous to the freedom we hold dear can also be used for illegal activity. That’s why government authorities try to monitor the dark web for any dangerous illegal activities and formulate research and policies on how to deal with it.
Even though the Deep Onion developers and community does not endorse nor support illegal activity, some elements will soon use this coin for their own benefit. Bitcoin , Dash and Monero were headlined in the news years ago when it was found out that dark web users were using these coins in their business transactions. Bitcoin, Dash and Monero prices jumped big percentages because of the news. The coin market saw this news as validation for the said coins as real use cases of merchandize transactions and a showcase of unit of value.
Deep Onion is becoming well known in the internet and in social media. So do not be surprised if one day you hear Deep Onion being used in the dark web.

It's understandable that some are bit nervous about Dark Web.
But using Dark Web is not always because you are hiding something illegal. It is also a great way to have a freedom of movement, real privacy & anonymity.
