Day 28 - 100 days of value challenge!

Yesterday was such a nerve-wrecking and big day for me. I have been the elected student representative in the university board of directors for a period now, and I applied for one more period.

The competition was tough, the process was tough (interviews, case delivery, presentation and speech in front of the student parliament), but I managed to get enough votes to secure my spot!! 🤩

It's not often that I get really stressed and anxious. I often stress about work and studies but in a "I've got lot to do but I'll handle it" way, but this process has been hard.

And so the victory tastes so good, even though I try to stay humble and I am grateful.

Being in the board has given me a lot of knowledge and experience, but I also feel that I've given my fair share to the board.

This next period, I'm going to do everything in my power to leave a positive mark and help steer the university in the right direction.

Thanks to everybody cheering me up when I've been scared and distracted in front of this event, you people mean the world to me.

Knowing I'll always be a winner in my friends' and family's eyes always makes it easier when I lose.

But not this time. This time I won.

Life protip of the day: Challenge yourself, go out of your comfort zone, be scared. You will win. And if you lose, then it's just another experience on your path to victory.
