Her dad was visibly angry because as an older person, he knew what could have been the guy’s reasons for not willing to marry his daughter legally. The father was so disappointed in him and that made him vow to see his daughter as successful and an independent woman, with or without the husband.
She gave birth to her first baby and after she was done with the normal ‘3 months’ that is mandated for women to take care of their baby before they can start any work, the father helped her in securing a job with one multinational company and everything started changing for the better for her. She could afford things on her own; take care of her children and even her home. She could support the husband with things in the house. Her future is now in her care and no longer dependent on the husband.
She said because the husband denied her the registry and of course the Church wedding, she never forgave him from her heart and this led her to own properties only in her name and her children’s name. I would never blame her for this, anyway. She is trying to secure her own future too and prove doubters wrong. I am glad she did. They currently have three children now.
Most of her properties are in the name of her children and she said she never used even her husband as her next of kin in any document. Just a few months ago, her company decided to transfer her to a branch in Texas, in the United States of America and the company is willing to pay for the entire family to relocate with her; all expenses PAID!!!.
Her husband’s business is not doing so great either, so he is completely open to relocating as well. The only problem now is that they cannot relocate outside the country without any legal documents to back them up. They have to show a legal certificate which would indicate that they are married and since they are not legally married, it would not be possible to take him along.

The husband reap the fruit of him not playing along. No matter his reasons, once two or three people had counsel him to marry the lady legally he should have done that instead of holding his ground not being supportive.
I'm glad for the lady because she never allowed her husband decision to way her down emotionally. I think the guy now will surely accept his mistake and manage to make amendment if time permit him to do so. I always find your piece interesting and motivating brother.
