An overview of the key speakers at the Decentralized 2018 summit in Greece.

Decentralized 2018 is currently one of the biggest stories in Greece at the moment. The summit is bringing together more than 1000 attendees from around the World to share knowledge on the growth of Blockchain Technology and discuss the innovative business and political implications involved with it. Decentralized 2018 will open on 14th November which will be this coming weekend and close on 16th.at the Divani Caravel hotel in Athens, Greece.

Roger Ver is a well known figure in the World of Blockchain Technology in which he played a pivotal role in pioneering it's growth. He's early adoption in the technology pushed him to invest a lot in cryptocurrency-related start-ups where he started the first mainstream company to accept bitcoin as payment. He has played a key role in having the University of Nicosia organizing the Decentralized summit for the second time, that's after the success of the first one which occurred in 2017. The University of Nicosia is the first University to offer an online course on Cryptocurrency, a journey which led to the University offering full academic degrees in Blockchain. Antonio was part of this movement by the University and initially he was involved in co-teaching digital currencies at the institution.

Antonio possesses a strong reputation with over 20 years experience in private equity, higher education as well as software development. He completed he's Master's degree in Business administration from Havard business school and a Bachelors Science degree in Computer information.

Ranked one of the top 100 most influential economists in the UK and Ireland, Garrick proves to be one of the exceptional speakers available at the summit. He offers a wide mass of knowledge in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology which has seen him being sought as a speaker in a number of public sector institutions some of which include; CIA, US Army and Naval War Colleges, Federal Reserve, Bank of England, and media like BBC. Gary is currently a researcher at the University of Cambridge and a co- founder of Mosaic, a decentralized market intelligence network.

He completed he's PhD in economic history from London School of economics where he too is currently a research associate.

Jameson Lopp is the infrastructure engineer of Casa company. Casa is a company that ensures proper storage of cryptocurrency.
