Smart contract and Decentralized autonomous organization on STEEM
Smart contract and DAO/DAC are coming on STEEM without any transactions fees. This is very interesting to me being a developer considering that other platforms with smart contract right now charge for transactions and some applications can't be built if there is some fees.
What is a DAC/DAO? with @dan
DAO or DAC
A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), sometimes labeled a decentralized autonomous corporation (DAC), is an organization that is run through rules encoded as computer programs called smart contracts. A DAO's financial transaction record and program rules are maintained on a blockchain. There are several examples of this business model. The precise legal status of this type of business organization is unclear.

What is a smart contract?
Smart Contract
Smart contracts are computer protocols that facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract, or that make a contractual clause unnecessary. Smart contracts usually also have a user interface and often emulate the logic of contractual clauses. Proponents of smart contracts claim that many kinds of contractual clauses may thus be made partially or fully self-executing, self-enforcing, or both. Smart contracts aim to provide security superior to traditional contract law and to reduce other transaction costs associated with contracting.

I look forward to see the implementation of smart contract on STEEM! If you are interested in learning more about smart contracts @dantheman has written a great article.
