Today I learned something. I didn’t know that there existed something like cypherpunk and what the difference between it and cyberpunk (that I have extensive knowledge about) was. Thanks!:)
I didn't know either until I started researching it. While reading the "Duality: an excerpt" paper, I noticed frequent references to "cypherpunk" and thought it was simply a misnomer for "cyberpunk." But a little deeper reading revealed otherwise, so I Googled it. It all makes sense now, though, as many of those names associated with "cypherpunk" are actually people who have been in the news, and some of them have gone on to make huge achievements in cyber security and privacy.
