Premera, in Seattle, is doing massive lay-offs today - 30%, including high paid IT/engineering staffs. How do I know this? - because a software engineer friend got the axe today as part of the 30%. Amazon is laying off people too - queue Microsoft and Google next. So sorry to report this, but the news of the "economic recovery" since 2008 has been GREATLY EXAGGERATED ...
