Difference between creditcard and debitcart

On a debitcard your money is directly burdened, same as giro account. On a creditcard your costs get collected and burdened at the end of the month. On a debitcard you can directly see how much did you spend (could be an advantage).
With a debitcard you could loose the overview of your money.
