Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati stated that he is not afraid to argue with people who have a narrow mindset and are not confident about Indonesia's potential in the future.

The statement was part of his welcoming speech at the welcoming ceremony for alumnus of LPDP alumni -Welcoming Alumni LPDP at the Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta, on Monday night.

The debate from Rizal Ramli began when President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invited anyone to argue with clear data and figures. President Yudhoyono's statement was made during an interview with one of the journalists in the context of foreign debt that had been criticized by some circles.
