Periods and Dash
It's a bit scary to think that you'll never know when you're going to die. Many things will be left unfinished. Periods will be just the end. No commas, colons, or semi-colons. Only tears. Tears from your friends and family will drown nights on your wake.
The sad part is, people will start telling good things about you when you won't be able to appreciate them. Those words that they want to convey will make no sense anymore. The quality time they have taken for granted to spend with you will no longer be available.
My curiosity falls under the people who dislikes you. Will they be able to set aside the unpleasant feelings they have for you? Will they be able to say their most sincere condolences to your bereaved family? The real question is, will they go to your funeral?
It's quite sad that we only have limited time to spend. However, I guess this what makes life genuine. On my own opinion, the birth year or the year you died inscribed on your grave are not important. It's the dash you live to touch other people's lives. The dash you've caused joy to someone else's heart.
It's not about fame, how rich you've been, how pretty or handsome you were. BUT it's the fact that you're happy and contented the life you live.
😚 Thank you for being the dash I so wanted to be part of my life. Will keep saying I love you.
