Dear Minnow (part 44): ON STEEMIT, CONTENT IS KING WHILE COMMUNITY IS QUEEN!

Dear Minnows,

Today I'm going to be a little playful but still relay my messages. There's a serious pun (pawn) right in this article. From the number 44 to the title to my first few words. I'm going to use this to pun-ish some people who dump articles on Steemit like its a waste bin.

Alot of time you hear it over and over that CONTENT IS KING. Some newbies just read that literally. Fine you did your research and produced amazing articles. WOW! We are all happy for you... init?!

NOPE! We aren't totally happy. Our happiness based on your logistics is still loading...probably around 49%. You know why? You haven't connected with us. SO WHY HAVEN'T YOU?

COME FOR THE MONEY, STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY

You see the mistake that many people make is to come for the money alone...until you start staying for the community, you ain't done yet. You are missing out on the sweet part.

Infact if you come for the money alone, you will get tired of chasing money I swear. You know money is a fast runner. It will deal with you the way Usain Bolt used to deal with his fellow competitors in the race. You will sweat and sweat...but no glucose for you. Why not chase something else that already knows how to catch money?

COMMUNITY CIRCLES MONEY!

You see those circles that communities form; any money that enters that center never leaves again...it only circulates. They say 2 heads are better than one. What of 3, 5, 10, 100, 1000? That's when you begin to see the magic of geometrical progressions. You begin to grow like say them dey jazz you!

WHEN YOU GET TO ANY KINGDOM,

• First pay homage to the king and immediately follow that up by paying homage to the queen too. Dear Minnow, know ye that women have immense powers oh. If you don't pay homage you may have your head on a platter like that of John The Baptist. In this case, you will have your wallet empty like the plates of those 'Almajiris' begging for alms in the streets.

SO if the community is the queen, you must find a way to pamper the women. Make them laugh. Tickle them. Befriend them. If you love somebody walk up to her... Mmmmh. mmmmh. Clears throat.

SO HOW DO YOU CONQUER THE QUEEN OF STEEMIT?

Here are a few ways...

• Connect with people by discussing real issues.
• Have fun together.
• Visit their blogs.
• Leave a good comment on posts.
• Chat them on Discord.
• Go for Meetups.
• Volunteer in their projects.
• Help others grow too.
• Invite and mentor newbies etcz

When you are doing all these, then your content will now begin to count.

You will definitely notice the following on your blog.

• Increased followers
• Increased comments
• Increased earnings

I don't need to say more. He that has ears, let him hear...
