That just sucks. It would have taken less than 3 minutes to determine that you were the legitimate owner of that account and that the guy was trying to scam you. I shouldn't have expected more from Steemit Inc, but I guess I did. They didn't need to be in a position of being an arbiter, they put themselves in that position by offering the account recovery service, and additionally so by giving the account back without even doing proper due diligence. I'm even more disturbed by Steem Inc's behavior.

Coming in the same week that they breached the rules of their own giveaway, nothing really surprises me with them anymore.
