mhhh you’d love the series Black Mirror if you arr interested in these dystopian human dreams. The erradication of illneses would be great. But then the overpopulation would come, and there would be problems with that. All that starts, must end sometime...

The population wouldn’t grow that fast any more if you can life (nearly) for ever, there is no sense in reproduction, also the more intelligent people get the less they get children best example is Japan and even Germany
