Sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the try in regards to musical talent. A lot of people don't realize what all goes into getting certain sounds and all the gear and actions required. Best of luck to you performing at the gig. I hope you had a great practice session.
Thanks Tim. Yes, it's the musician's lot to worry about signal chains and tone; I kind of enjoy all that to be honest, mainly because I don't play well if my tone is rubbish and it's a constantly evolving thing. Almost a holy grail type scenario.
