Ingredients:
Kilogram of fresh or frozen herring
Five bulbs (you can take more)
80 ml vinegar (I was doing 9%...but in next time will make 6 %)
Half a Cup of vegetable oil
Teaspoon of sweet pepper-peas
Two teaspoons ground red pepper
Tablespoon tomato paste
Table spoon of salt (without slide)
Preparation:
Mix vegetable oil and tomato paste, put on fire and bring to a boil. Pour vinegar, cover and remove from heat. Let the marinade slowly cool down.
Cut onion into wide rings. Take onions more than specified in the recipe, it turns out very tasty!
Pepper need just fragrant, not black, otherwise, it's spicy marinade and not as fragrant. Together with ground red pepper send peppers in the cooled marinade. Add salt and stir.
Herring cut into fillets (skin is not removed), cut into pieces.
In a saucepan or in another container, lay out layers of herring, onion, marinade. Alternate until you run out of food. Cover with an inverted plate, put a small weight, put in the refrigerator. After a few hours, the snack will be ready, but it is better to withstand her night – get even tastier.
