My dog loves to chew leashes and this one has been a challenge. It’s thick so he’s unsure and it’s heavy so it throws him off a little. It’s mostly been intact because this leash is different than others I’ve purchased so I think he just doesn’t think of it as a toy? I’m not sure. I have a cattle dog and he likes to pull too and I noticed I have a little more control with this leash. Since it’s thicker and slightly heavier It is easier for me to pull him back in when he gets a little crazy vs other leashes he would just pull back harder. I recommend this. Maybe not for small dogs but any dog over 25-30 pounds?

For anyone who has ever walked two dogs (or can imagine walking two dogs)- this is an absolute life changer!
I have an 11 week old puppy and a 3 year old lab...clearly not the same size. Obviously the leash will be better suited for when they’re the same size and the puppy walks better on a leash but for the first time in 3 weeks- I had a free hand while walking them! It’s a good, sturdy leash so to stop/direct them...you won’t be yanking your arm, you only need a little bit of force/pull. It’s true- they do not get tangled! As long as they both walk, doesn’t matter how many turns or stops they take- no tangles!! It’s sturdy enough that if one dog pulls, the straps stay adjusted to whatever length you have them set to. A friend let me borrow a V coupler and as soon as one dog pulled, the length would adjust and they got all the slack- doesn’t happen with this leash! If one dog pulls, yes, the other dog feels it but I expect that to only be an issue until they adjust to this new leash concept and the puppy walks better on a leash. Only downside is I would have preferred a padded handle instead of the foam but that’s just personal preference. Handle is soft and cushiony though. Worth every penny! Also, I live in an apartment (no yard) so walks are the ONLY thing we do...that’s how important this leash is and it’s made a huge difference! Don’t hesitate to buy it!

This is such a great hands-free leash. I love that it has the buckle and double carabiner hook. Also, the bungee cord isn't long enough for my pup to get too far away, about 4 feet, which is a comfortable distance walking around the city with him. Safety is so important with all of the cars driving around, so it's nice to know I have a leash option when I know I need to carry something that might take both hands!

For the first time in my life I have two pups (ages 5 months and 11 months) and each pup walks very nicely next to us on a leash with a loose leash (it's taken lots of practice). I was hoping this would be my miracle item that made taking them out in public easier by myself but it made it tougher to handle them.
Pros: easy to clip, adjustable lengths are helpful and easy to change, swivels nicely
Cons: little control of just one dog (I couldn't correct just one dog), couldn't walk them next to me like normal so they pulled ahead

If you like to have your dogs walk ahead of you this might be a great item for walking two dogs, but if you walk your dogs next to you then pass on this. We ended up just using their adjustable rope leashes and when walking both one dog goes on each side.
