Small Bonsai; a Shohin tree by Morten Albek
A dazzling Rockspray (Cotoneaster horisontalis). This is a photo taken in spring; the tree blossoms in summer and has little red berries in wintertime. The tree is just 9,5 cm (4 inches) high and is planted on a smaller than normal shake. The pot is made by John Pitt, a renowned potter. The tree is around 20 years of age on the photo and has been in preparing for about 10 years.
