DATUM ICO - Do you like being exploited by big companies & who stole your 40K$ (Part 1)

There is an old saying that real information is worth more than gold. In today's big business we can say that data is gold, or like they love to say in Datum - Data is the!) new oil!

Let me tell you one short story.

It is a story about 3 persons.

The first person was giving all his information for free and sharing them all around not thinking about that how they are worth a lot of money.

The second one was collecting that pieces of information and selling them to the third person who was interested in them.

After analyzing all pieces of information third person was making and selling products based on them.

At the end of this story, second and third persons got rich - Really, big time rich and lived happily ever after.

So as all of us already know big companies want to get in the heads their users and potential users that way they will get information what to make and how to sell it to make a profit. Without real information, companies are tapping in the dark and gambling with their future. So all successful companies are buying data about their clients from the internet and making their products and sales based on that data. If there are any of you not knowing this already, I am sorry & welcome to the 21. century. I won't talk about all the privacy issues here but by now you should realize there is none of it on the web.

It is then really strange that this was going on for all these years and no one tried to change it and make something for all of us small guys and data providers fueling all this system for years and not receiving anything from it. Well at least they could send us a box of candies once a year and small pink card with big thanks on it - That would be something. Some calculations are saying that personal data of just one individual is worth more than 2000$/year. Please think about this number and the number of individuals being exploited this way. Just imagine that someone was paying you that amount for your private data for last 20 years. That is 40 000$ that someone made on you!

It is time to STOP this exploit now...
