Dating as a Dwarf

Okay guys, I’m a dwarf. I live in Texas, and I’m not ugly. The dwarf community is a real thing, for those who didn’t know.

Everyone has their opinion on my dating life. “Find someone your own height.” “How can you deal with the stares?” “How do you do anything with him if he’s like double your height?”
I’m don’t date dwarfs anymore, mainly because every male dwarf I met turns out to be an a**hole. I tried for a couple years then I started bringing home guys literally twice my height. I go out on dates and climb into their big trucks to get there. I’m definitely dating the opposite of what people think I should be with.

This is the current guy in my life. He’s double my height. But, he treats me better than all my exes combined and nothing can beat that. He’s all I can ask for: he respects my sister, and father, he treats me like a queen and he puts my education and well being first.

He will literally tell me to go to bed so I get enough sleep before class. Or he’ll share locations with me when I’m in uber so he knows where I am if something happens. I never had anything like that before and I kinda love it.

So, if you’re one of those people who see dwarfs as dwarfs and think we should “only date your kind,” I say go screw yourself. I’m happy and that’s all that matters.
