Date night

in #datenight7 years ago

Tonight I am taking my boyfriend out on a date. What's so special about it you think?

Well, I'll tell you why it's special.

First of all- he is sweet and gives me lots of kisses. Secondly, I am obsessed with his lips. They are so sweet. Thirdly, I promised him when we started dating 7 months or so ago, that I will never take him for granted. I am keeping my promise. I enjoy my time with him and having him around is so nice.
We are dating long distance and he is here for the summer, spending some months with me. He dropped his whole life to come and spend time with me.

I have very specific taste in men and I am happy to have found him. I tell him he is the best thing that was ever MADE IN CHINA. We come from worlds away. I am a European transplant living in Orlando, Florida. He smiles, and I kiss him and he kisses me back.

I wanna share with you a small dinner date we had the other day, just so that you may laugh with me.

I am a very picky eater and he wanted Indian food. I hate curry with the power of ten thousand suns. But guess what? I went with him to a near by Indian restaurant (Orlando, FL). I ordered the garlic naan for appetizer and it was so delicious that I ordered another one. When it was time to order the entree, I asked if there is anything on the menu that does NOT contain curry?
He pointed me to the dish in one of the pictures on the menu. ( See steaming image - ha ha ). So the food comes out and I dig in. And guess what was my surprise?

No, there was no curry but the dish was SPICY! I can't eat spicy! So, my boyfriend had to eat both dishes and so I've had my experience with Indian food.

I don't know what kind of culinary experience we will have tonight but be sure to tune in tomorrow as I plan on documenting tonight's date. I am a total foodie, I forgot to mention it.

Most Indian food is spicy. And most Indian food is not curry. Saag paneer would be a good pick, if you like spinach and cheese. I don't like spiciness either and that's what I usually get. If you ask for mild most places will oblige you.

Thank you so much for your reply. I do like spinach and cheese. I did not think about the spiciness of food when I went there, I was concerned not to get any curry in my food. I am glad tried it , because it was an experience. And I am a foodie.

Curry is good, somehow vege food is much comfortable to eat if you don't like spicy food.

I am not saying curry is bad. I am saying my taste buds disagree with the taste of curry. Thanks for your reply.
