This was done to take advantage of pre-existing infrastructure built around the ERC20 standard, which the old token did not completely adhere.
There will be stages of airdrops to redistribute the new token to holders of the existing token. There has also been a contract deployed to speed up the distribution process.
Like the original token contract, the new token contract also accepts ether and rewards the sender with $datboi.
I did this for a few reasons,
- For 0.0001 ETH(currently ~$0.2) you get 100,000 DATBOI. With this amount of $datboi you now have BOIS for life.
• Proof : IF you posted 1 meme every day for the next 100 years, you would have 1/3 less memes than you now have DATBOI. SUPER LOW EFFORT SHITPOSTING - For 0.001 ETH(currently ~$2) 1,000,000 DATBOI is rewarded to the sender. This is a great wealth of BOIS, a gluttony of DATBOI. Nobody ever needs this many BOIS.
- If someone sent more than 1 ETH to the contract, the contract will fail. This is done to prevent unfair distribution, or at least slow down the effectiveness of large accounts.
- DATBOI IS WORTH LESS THAN ZERO DUE TO THE PRICE OF TRANSACTION FEES. ANY VALUE PLACED ON $datboi IS YOUR OWN, NOTHING MORE
The Ether collected from the $datboi contract will be put towards betterment of the project, the creation of dank memes and the spread of joy. This project is 100% not for profit and for the advancement of shitposting and shitposters everywhere.
$datboi has no technical advantages over any other token or cryptocurrency, It is a low quality, low effort meme-coin built on the ethereum protocol.
