Major Challenge.
Hundreds of billions each year are spent by individuals, companies, researchers and government on the buying and maintenance of IOT sensors.
The growth and development of the investment and applications in IOT are really staggering, and even with that, all the data captured by these devices are locked up in silos and walled gardens.
On the path of the investment from the sensor to the silo, all the data flows over gateway operators like telecom companies, networks and even the control panels of the sensor manufacturers.
The DataBroker Is A Peer To Peer Market Place for IOT Sensor Data.
It becomes possible to unlock the value using smart contract based market-place on the Ethereum network. Through the gateway operator, the sensor owners place the data generated by their sensors up for sale.
STAKEHOLDERS.
There is a large number of stakeholders in the DataBroker DAO and they include; sensor owners, gateway operators, data processors and even data buyers.
An explanation will be made on each of them for clarification, just read through.
The sensor owners: These are the stakeholders who have purchased IOT sensors and have made the data emitted from their sensors available for sale through the DataBroker DOA platform.
The Data Buyers: These are the stakeholders who will purchase data on the platform. The purpose of the purchase may be to use the data in its raw form for their own purposes or to purchase the data with the mindset of transforming or enriching the raw data which is to be resold with added value through the DataBroker DAO.
The Data Processors: These are the set of data buyers who will purchase data with the explicit intention of enriching the data and maybe reselling it or later handing it over to their clients.
The GateWay Operators: The Gateway operators in the DataBroker DAO is to expose the gateway they operate to enable sensor owners to sell their data on the platform.
The Data Sellers.
There are a basic number of data sellers identified, and the overview of the sectors who are already in sectors from Gartner highlights and the key potential sellers of data even for years to come.
The business group is led by the following sectors:
• The manufacturing and natural resources.
• The transportation.
• The utilities and government.
• The smart city initiatives.
• The agricultural sector.
The different approach is taken by DataBroker DAO.
The DataBroker is built to go into production this year.
The DataBroker is built to interface with the large players in the ecosystem.
The DataBroker will focus on being a complementary component in the current and future ecosystem.
TOKEN SALE.
The token sale will accept purchases in ETHERIEUM, the tokens will be delivered the week after the sale has been completed.
The PRE-SALE.
The pre-sale of the token will begin on March 19th, 2018 at 4 pm CET, during this pre-sale period, there will be a bonus application of 50% and during this period, the minimum amount to be purchased will be 10ETH.
The MAIN SALE.
The main sale of the token will start on April 26, 208 at 4 pm CET, this sale will run for a period of 4 weeks and the rate for this phase will be 4000 DTX per Eth.
The bonus of 10% will only be awarded on the first day.
TRADING.
Trading will begin on the 7th of July, 2018. The tokens will become tradable 1 week after the sale ends and that will be on the 30th of June, 2018. At this point, there will be a commitment to list the DTX token on coinFalcon.com.
