What do you think about this? How much of your personal data would you be willing to sell?
-social and search data
-prescription history
-medical history
-all your financial trades
-every hotel you’ve ever stayed at
-all your flights
-all your purchases
-your identity
-your DNA
-your dating history ;-) (perhaps this could be inferred from your search data, your hotel history, your purchases and your prescription history...)
How much money would you want for this information?
And what do you think about a (secure) digital assistant in your phone that will help you monetize your personal data?
I would share almost anything besides these two
Haven't thought though on how much would I ask for that data :)
To be totally honest I would actually really not have any problem with selling some of my personal data (if the money i good of course 😅) and we kinda already do that by using Facebook, Google, etc. because they are actually not really free we simply pay with our personal data and by giving them user informations, search data, etc.
But I could really see that we could actually get paid for our data in the future. On some platforms like Twitch for example we already kinda get paid for watching ads already.
I would also sell most of my data. But the price would probably be too low.
