When btc becomes regulated (wich it probably will some day), alot of people are going to move over towards the more private cryptos, such as Dash and Monero.
Keep in mind that what made bitcoin big, was the fact that it was "private". When bitcoin becomes regulated, money that made bitcoin big will make Dash/Monero big aswell.
