INNOVATIONS for BANKS 2018
Gerade im Zeitalter der immer schneller voranschreitenden Digitalisierung sind Banken in puncto Innovation doppelt gefordert. Sie dürfen den digitalen Anschluss nicht verlieren und müssen gleichzeitig mit innovativen Ideen auf den Kunden zugehen, um auf lange Sicht relevant zu bleiben. So unterschiedlich die Geldhäuser am Markt sind, so vielfältig sind deren Ansätze, um dieses zentrale Problem zu lösen.
Die Dash Embassy D-A-CH ist mit einem Speakerslot und einer kleinen Booth auf der Konferenz vertreten. In seinem Vortrag wird Jan Heinrich Meyer eine Einführung in die Grundlagen von Kryptowährungen und die grundlegenden Organisationsstruktur der Dash-DAO mit ihrem dezentralen Governance System geben und erklären, was diese Struktur für die Skalierbarkeit und Geschwindigkeit der Payment orientierten Kryptowährung Dash bedeutet.
Darüber hinaus gibt Meyer einen Einblick in die Aktivitäten der von ihm gegründeten Sub-DAO „Dash Embassy D-A-CH“ – die sich die Verbreitung von Dash im Mainstream auf die Fahne geschrieben hat und zeigt die Chancen auf, die sich für den Bankensektor in Verbindung mit Kryptowährungen ergeben können.

Banks are twice as dependent on innovation in the Age of ever faster digitization. To remain relevant they have to remain connected to the digital world and approach their customer with innovative ideas. Because there is a huge difference between financial institutions their solutions are also very diverse.
Dash will be represented by the Dash Embassy D-A-CH with a speaking slot and a small booth. Jan Heinrich Meyer will give a talk about the basics of cryptocurrencies and the governance structure of the Dash DAO, its implications and the scalability as a payment-oriented cryptocurrency that is possible because of it.
He will also talk about the Sub-DAO “Dash Embassy D-A-CH” that he founded. The goal of the embassy is to bring Dash into the mainstream and he will present to the banking industry the benefits that working with cryptocurrencies could hold for them.
