Dash Roadmap - 2 Years of Visibility
Doing my research on the Dash team, I have encountered their road map planning. I also learned Amanda B. Johnson may no longer be providing regular Dash marketing.

- November 2017 - Dash Evolution Wallet Testnet
- December 2017 - DashCore 12.3
- February 2018 - DashPay Evolution Wallet Livenet Release (February 2018)
- June 2018 is the Evolution version 1 release, coinciding with having operational offices in the US, Europe and Asia
This is why I have liked Dash and been bullish on it non-stop since $20. Their budgeting system permits them to hire programmers, and keep a dedicated and sane development team pushing forward into the future, without the drama coins like Bitcoin or even Ethereum face.
If the Dash community were unhappy with the Dash development team, they could defund them through the budgeting vote process. Rather, they have remained funded and have been using the funds responsibly to produce solid development. Now all that work is coming to fruition and there is an upcoming period of time where many updates and software releases should occur.
All these events are ahead of us, just as Dash has broken into an all-time high above $230. The Dash masternode count is as high as ever coming in at 4,628. Why does this matter? 61% of the entire coin supply for Dash has decided to load itself into a masternode for voting purposes and is not being used in the liquid market on exchanges. It is like if 61% of bitcoin were visibly tied up in a system and we could see it there, not being used for trading. A masternode can be liquidated quickly, but for people who watch the markets on a daily basis and we see this count climb, we understand something important, circulating supply of Dash is being reduced by a class of investors willing to hold Dash long-term.
Preach! You really need to start doing this stuff full time.
Dash's leadership looks incredibly strong and they seem to know exactly where they want to go. Some coin will end up being the king currency for day to day uses, do you feel Dash has a realistic chance of being that currency?
I know Steem is incredibly fast and is currently has more daily transactions than any other currency if I'm not mistaken. Could Steem be a viable currency is this regard?

I'm leaning Dash will be one of the main international currencies. The reason being, unlike Bitcoin which is aiming for higher transaction fees and wanting to be the reserve currency for speculators, Dash wants to be a cheap currency for payments which is easy to use. How can Bitcoin really be used for payments with high fees and slow block time? The debit card systems kind of make bitcoin fast, but as soon as we figure out the fees for those systems, they're convenient but too pricey.
Litecoin is not really a viable Dash competitor because it faces all the same bottlenecks bitcoin has, just that Litecoin hits those bottlenecks later due to its setup.
When the dash wallet comes out, people will be able to stake their coins and earn interest, right?
As far as i recall you still need a certain amount of coins to be able to do that but less then for a masternode.
Do you think this will liquify some of the coins
My understanding is that this will create a masternode partial investment system. So when you stake, you are staking in a masternode for the interest, but you are just a small chunck of the masternode's 1,000 coins. I could be wrong, but I do not believe they are changing the payout scheme at all for any of the 3 groups.

Unfortunately I'm lighter than I was a week or so ago.
It is a great currency, it buys so much you want to spend and spend.
i never invested in Dash but after seeing so much development around this looks to have huge potential :)
