DASH Evolution: Masternodes
In this video, I will cover one upgrade in the upcoming Dash Evolution update: Improvements to the masternode network. I explain the basics of nodes and the what makes masternodes different.
With evolution, Dash Creator Evan Duffield realized that improving the network of masternode is key to improving network efficiency. This had lead to some (gradual) change proposals:
- Increase Master node storage capacity
- Gradually require master nodes to use better hardware (more RAM, better processor)
slowly phase to SSD based storage.
These changes will allow DASH to be a premiere network with elite machines.
DASH is making some very good moves. They seem to be a very impressive leadership group.

Dash is simply forging ahead. The team is growing. The budget is growing and the ideas are flowing. Payment can be instant with Dash. It is pleasing to have a payments focused team who realise both public and private transactions matter.

So Dash is looking occupy the space bitcoin is vacating. Dash will be competing with Litecoin.
