One thing I generally don't quite get about businesses of this kind is this: if they have a capability to, say, use a certain compute power configuration to generate, let's say, $50 worth of BTC, why would they do that and offer this power to you for $30 as opposed to just going ahead, generating that $50 worth of BTC and keeping it all for themselves?
in business there is always a limit on how much capital that business has to invest, without investors to pay for more hardware and electricity they would have to borrow money from a bank to grow the business. This video is small sample of what they can do with the money i invest

So what you are saying is that this is just a capital raising excercise - they would rather get hard cash upfront than bet on raising it via cryptocurrency mining?
