Dream Market adds Bitcoin Cash: How to deposit BCH and how not to withdraw it

As has been reported last week, the largest darkweb market Dream has now enabled Bitcoin Cash (BCH) for buy and sells on their website.

While integrating an accessible option for vendors to accept BCH as payment, there has been some confusion on how to access the BCH wallet on Dream as a buyer.

Courtesy of a recent post by CaptainPlanet on Dream's official forum, a success way to initiate the BCH wallet is relatively simple:

... [You] just need to add: /bchWallet to the end of the market url while logged in and this will activate and display the BCH wallet on your tool bar next to the original BTC wallet.

While BCH and BTC as payment schemes for darkweb transactions still lack anonymity, in comparison to likes of Monero or Zcash, of more concern is the current error in the withdrawal option that incorrectly lists withdrawing BCH to a BTC wallet.

It appears the withdrawal form has yet to be updated for the BCH wallet, already leading to individuals incorrectly attempting to withdraw their BCH to a BTC wallet. This may explain why the option for BCH is not yet obviously accessible for buyers and is instead still in the process of development. You have been warned!

For many, news of such an error is far from surprisingly, with Dream Market recently being de-listed from the Dark Net Market Superlist, as lack of trust with the market grows.

In other news, Aero Market, the latest darkweb market that I previously wrote about in October as having the potential to be the new Trade Route, is now considered a scam by DarkWebNews, despite users claiming otherwise:

"WARNING SUSPECTED SCAM IN PROGRESS – WITHDRAWALS CONFIRMED AS NOT WORKING – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!"

Otherwise, Tochka Free Market as well as Wall St Market are back up and running after suffering severe downtime during the spate of DDoS attacks against darkweb markets.

The latest craze of these darkweb markets appears to be spawning new mirror links as DDoS attacks continue to be a problem. Dream Market now hosts a dozen onion urls, with other markets continuing to release new mirror links on a near weekly basis.
