How destructive can an action scene be between two people who don’t even touch each other during battle? If one of them has magnetic powers and the other telekinetic ones, you might want to duck. This scene pits Magneto (Michael Fassbender) against Phoenix (Sophie Turner) in a sequence where a war of wills lead to pyrotechnics, errant helicopter blades and a superhero who takes a ride not on, but through, a few bicycles. In his narration, the writer and director Simon Kinberg discusses how he sought to create a set piece different from the kinds usually found in X-Men movies, while using real helicopters in the process.
