In the movie Nerve is a decentralized open source application, that you can be a watcher or you can be a player. The whole idea is the watchers come up with a dare which is voted on with a majority vote. They offer up a said amount of the dare and you have the choice to accept the dare or lose everything you make.

How would this work:

Well from the idea we talk about is, that it could work with steem or work with a new blockchain. You can be a watcher or a player. Each dear would be voted on majority decision rules. They would make a prize pool each watcher can decide how much to put in.

Then if they choose to do the dear they get a certain period of time do the bet which can be minutes, hours , days, months, years. If they don't finish the dear the pool go's back to the people who put up the funds.

To prevent murders and people killing them self you could put in a report feature that would control heavy stake holders to come intervene and effect the vote of a dear. So using stake big holders of the tokens can effectively stop crimes from happening.

Since it would be impossible to stop children from joining, some kinda model would have to be put into place to prevent child exploitation and such.
