Dlux; AR + VR social network [review]

Introduction

No doubt the VR/AR has been one of the most outstanding invention of the 21st century cause of the fantasy world it places it's users in, and how rapidly it has taken over the movie industry in terms of cinema viewing slowly from the 3d glasses.
VR has been recognized up to a state that it got to the gunnes book of record which got popular after a man who sold his real life house for $1000 to buy a Virtual reality world which later sold for over $600m awarding him the world record for most expensive virtual world ever sold, and over to the gunnes world record of longest videogame marathon

Aside the world records the VR/AR where been related to something for only those who can afford it(expensive), but over the years the usage of VR/AR has increased as many companies and especially start ups on kickstarter and indiegogo have been working to bring this to a lay man's usage.
Despite all these it still undergoes a factor of over data usage to some of us in 3rd world countries where data expenses are damn high, which limits the use of AR/VR cause of the amount of data it consumes with no incentive.
well, i think those days are over which brings us to the review of today which is Dlux

What is Dlux?

Dlux is a decentralized VR/AR platform built on the blockchain, which gives users the power to "Design and publish dapps, interfaces, and experiences for distribution through web browsers at no cost."
in order for a proper incentive system, Dlux is built on the steem blockchain which rewarding system is quite easy and very incorruptible with its peer to peer rewarding system based on community support, In addition to that users can publish post to all dapps built on the steem blockchain.

Although the AR/VR community is yet to get major recognition worldwide in the centralize space talk more of the decentralized system but with the implied rule of the community support the decentralized AR/VR users gets rewarded evenly.

As i said above Dlux is built on the steem blockchain and for anyone to become a user he/she needs a steem account to log in and make use of the dlux system via the steemconnect app

The dlux Ui is kinda self-explanatory cause of the lack of sophistication it lacks in some parts, in order to log in you just need the click the top left drop corner (highlighted in the image above)
the menu has the sign-up button which leads to steemit.com for registration and login which leads to steemconnect for logging in

After logging in to dlux, drop down box already has a visible red button which would take you to the virtual world of upvoting creating posts in VR
while under the button there other buttons like home, chat, about, create, wallet, settings, logout which most yet to start working cause dlux is still in beta stage.

Conclusion

To sum it all i think the dlux team have made a very great step and a strategic one in the sense of venturing into VR at this very early stage of the tech itself.
Still in beta stage i think dlux stands a little chance against some mini VR platforms, i hope to see more though once dlux goes mainstream and currently i will rate dlux 5/10 in performace and all
