Juan's life and his challenges

Juan was a lonely boy who lived in a small town on the outskirts of the city. Since childhood he had suffered the abandonment of his father, who left him and his mother never to return. Since then, his mother fell into a deep depression and became an alcoholic, leaving Juan to look after himself.

Juan had to work from a very young age to be able to support himself and pay his household bills. His job consisted of collecting garbage from the streets of the town, which forced him to get up early every day to start his shift. In addition, he was the subject of ridicule from some of his co-workers, who considered him a failure and a loser.

Despite everything, Juan was a very intelligent boy and had great aspirations for his future. She dreamed of going to university and studying architecture, but she did not have enough money to pay her tuition or the support of her mother, who could barely take care of herself.

Juan lived in a scary old house that was always cold and damp. The walls were damp and the ceiling was leaking. Juan slept in a small, dark room, where hardly any natural light entered.

One day, while he was working, Juan found an old book in the trash that caught his attention. It was an architecture book, full of drawings and plans of buildings. Juan fell in love with it and decided to take it home to read it.

Since then, Juan spent hours reading
