1 The Skippers Canyon, New Zealand

The Skippers Canyon Road is located New Zealand, it’s made from a very narrow cut in the middle of a sheer cliff face. This winding road actually requires a special permit to drive. If you do manage to get the permission, be ready for a slippery and dangerous adventure. The tricky part is if you run into someone coming from the other direction. Is no going to be fun in games if you find yourself in such situation. So the question is.. Are you brave enough?

2 North Yungas Road, Bolivia

Norh Yungas Road in Bolivia, also known as the “Road of Death” is extremely dangerous and is known as the world’s most dangerous road”. Its estimated that 200 to 300 travellers are killed yearly along the road. Thas just crazy. This Road of Death includes cross markings on many of the spots where vehicles have fallen. It is a regular occurrence for buses and trucks especially when they try passing each other.

3 Guoliang Tunnel Road, China

The Guoliang Tunnel is located in China. The tunnel, carved along the side of and through a mountain, opened to traffic in 1977, Although you wont see that much traffic due to its dangerous conditions. This scary looking road took 5 years to build it. The most schoking part is that it was built by 13 villagers and they used 4,000 hammers, 12 tons of steel and lots of chisels. Now thats unbelieveable!

  1. James Dalton Highway, Alaska

The Dalton Highway in Alaska begins at the Elliott Highway, north of Fairbanks, and ends at Deadhorse near the Arctic Ocean. Although at first glance, you may think is not that dangerous, This road is filled with potholes,flying rocks carried by fast winds, and worst of all it runs through the middle of nowhere. So i dont think its a great idea to drive the Dalton Highway during the night. This road is named after James William Dalton, one of the first engineers to be involved in the exploration of new oil fields in the polar zone.

5 Karakoram Highway, Pakistan

The Karakoram Highway is one of the highest paved roads in the world. The Government who built it named it The Friendship Highway. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram Mountain range. Over 140 Chinese workers died during the construction. This road has dangerous floods and the worst part is that the road in Pakistan is unpaved. Even though is very dangerous, it atracts tourists from all around the world. So if you are ready for a challenge. the Karakoram Highway is a risky one.
