How to Make Dandelion Wine

This mythological drink, apart from literature, may also be present in your hot summer afternoons, served in a crystal glass and with lots of ice.

Do not overlook the beautiful dandelions with dandelions around your home, but prepare a colorful and flamboyant drink, such as the summer dandelion wine.

Required products:

  • 3 hrs. flowers of dandelions
  • 3.5 liters of water,
  • 6 hrs. sugar
  • 300 g white raisins 2 lemons
  • 2 oranges
  • 8 sticks of cloves
  • 1 pack of dry yeast.

Method of preparation: Dial dandelions. Try to have a little of the green part of the plant as possible. Put the water to boil and pour the flowers. Let them sit overnight. Straighten.

Add the raisins, lemon and orange peel, the clove sticks. Add to boil, add sugar to dissolve easily, and cook for 20 minutes.

Strain and let some cooldown.

Activate the yeast by placing it in a small bowl of hot water for ten minutes. Add to the warm dandelion and spices syrup. Add the juice extracted from all the citrus fruits. Stir well.

Pour the mixture into glass bottles. Leave them warm for a day and then move them in cool for three weeks with the slightly capped cap.

When the wine is ready after 3 weeks, store in tightly closed bottles for six months to one year. Over time, its color becomes clear and slightly transparent.
