What's your favorite D&D character?
Fellow adventurers!
When it comes to Dungeons and Dragons what is your favorite character to play? It doesn't matter what the edition is be it 3.5, 5th, pathfinder, or whatever. Just looking at race and class, be it from the books or even homebrew.
For me may favorite by far so far has been my Drow fighter (3.5).
I just love to make the insane completely evil fighters. I prefer the Drow due to the high Dex and just the backgrounds of them. I generally go with the two weapon fighting feats and am just able to make my self a lean mean killing machine.
Please let me know in the comments what you like to play!
Cheers!!

I once rolled a character with the werewasp template from the dragon article "What's Bugging You". Then I rounded it out with a few levels of swarmlord. Basically, a giant, evil flying wasp that stole children in the night to grow their army of were-creatures and could teleport to wasp swarms with a 1 mile radius, then command wasps to swarm and make more hives for him. Frikking nightmare, and I loved it.
That is awesome! Sounds like that has got to be a pretty fun character to play.
Bugbear Warlock!!!
................... I am still going to make a coat out of your Bugbear......
You can try! :P
It's not that hard man, I just hit you with my big flaming sword. Also I'm just going to betray you all to the Lich King anyways.
There's an AD&D post, yay! My first character which I played for a long time was Wenke, the funky Gnome Sorceress (2nd edition). The books didn't allow Gnome wizards, but our DM made an exception. The most cherised artifact I carried was 'The Bag of Goodies', which was really an inexhaustible bag of weed, which made for a very very chill wizard :D
That is awesome. I know a few people that make characters like that, it always makes the game interesting. In 3.5 i had a fighter that i gave the blood pawn template to (basically drinks vampire blood). It made it interesting because i got addicted to it and went through withdrawls. Almost got my character killed trying to get them vamps.
