Dungeons & Cookies!

Sometimes D&D isn't as much about the game as it should be and sometimes those are the most enjoyable nights. Tonight was one of those nights. We didn't really accomplish much in our session but I really had a great night with friends eating cookies.

The cookie selection was homemade gingersnaps, vanilla macaroons and chocolate macaroons. I opted to exclusively focus on the gingersnaps since they are one of my favorites and avoided the macaroons because I'm not a big coconut fan. For the first portion of the session I couldn't stop eating cookies, the were just too yummy.

While the cookies were present we did not accomplish very much and were easily distracted by conversation and anything non-D&D related. In the midst of all the cookie devouring I did manage to recruit a guide to help us to our destination where we believe a secret weapon was buried. After that I decided to just have more cookies.

We once again had Florence the Cat joins us for the session and she seemed to enjoy herself and since she whines much less than Namfoodle and makes us cookies, she is our new favorite D&D member.

Also Lyle the Druid made his return to action and seems to have decided that he will follow my character into anything. Not that I'm opposed to this but my character can be a bit reckless at times so it may not be the safest decision he's ever made.
